Biography
Brittany Tinklepaugh was raised in Rhode Island and developed a love for visual art at a young age. At Lincoln High School in Providence, she enrolled in the art major program, taking art classes most days of the week. During her time there, she participated in StyleWeek for three years, designing garments made from recycled materials for the runway.
She now attends Marist University in Poughkeepsie, New York, studying Fine Arts and English Literature. Her practice centers on painting, though she also works in drawing and sculpture. In her junior year, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy, taking studio courses in painting, sculpture, and photography. Drawing inspiration from lived experience and the political state of the world, her work has been exhibited on the Marist campus and published in the Marist Mosaic. Her painting Stagnant was accepted into the publication, while Wave won the cover of the Fall 2025 issue.
She is currently in her final year at Marist, continuing to develop her style and technique.
