Protect The Innocent

My piece was inspired by research I conducted on the Epstein files released in early 2026. I focused specifically on President Donald Trump's alleged involvement, as he has repeatedly claimed no connection to them, yet thousands of documents bear his name. I chose this topic because I wanted to bring to light the misogyny and lack of protection for children in this country. Epstein, Trump, and several other powerful figures have been accused of sexually abusing young girls, with little to no consequences. This painting stems from the anger I feel knowing that the girls who endured these traumatic experiences have still not gotten justice, and have had to watch an accused predator become a president.
